May our loss be the gain of the Iraqi people. I pray that they do not squander their opportunity, that they come together as a country to support each other and build up their future. I pray that freedom is cherished and protected, and that Iraq becomes a beacon in the land of jihad. I pray that this is the beginning of the long process of peace for all the earth.

Honor our troops. Pray for the success of the Iraqi people. Support their efforts. After the mission is successful, then bring them home. To do otherwise would be to dishonor all of the sacrifices they - and we - have made. May the Lord of all bless us all, as we are all His children.

    Amen.

Thank the Lord that we have a “God first” man with not only courage, love of country, political saavy , but also an incredible love for his fellow man, and empathy for their families. I was amazed the first time I read this entry, some months ago and I am amazed and struck with awe for our fantastic military again. I don’t know what kind of awards Edd is able to receive for his politically unbiased reporting and his courage to do it on the spot with the Corps, but I think he should receive some award that call attention to a “real man” and a for sure and certain reporter. Thanks for touching our hearts and our pocketbooks by giving us opportunities to give $ to those with courage to give their all for us.
Luv you Edd and Nina who stands behind you and allows you to be the courageous Godly man you are.
